Our History

Central Baptist Church

In October of 1985, Central Baptist Church was started by Pastor Daniel "Buddy" Ward.

Originally it was named Lonestar Fundamental Baptist Church, but after several years of ministry, the church moved to its current location it was renamed Central Baptist Church. At this time, Bro. Ward stepped down and Pastor Jerry Stout became the pastor.

In 2008, Bro. Stout stepped down and Pastor Fred Ferren became Central Baptist Church's new pastor to date.

Central Baptist Church is a mission minded church and desires to see people saved and has been the sole purpose of its calling.
